My Oliver + S Music Box Jumper

It’s finally dress weather here!  My three-year-old is in a ‘dress only’ phase so I have been a busy bee making summer dresses for both girls.  My motivation to start sewing was so I could make clothes for my girls.  I never thought it would become something I enjoy so much!

I have purchased and tried several digital sewing patterns with mixed results.  This was the first pattern I made from Oliver + S and I am hooked!  It’s the Oliver + S Music Box Jumper.  The pattern itself was easy to assemble, the instructions were clear and I love the dresses.

Even though I have made several dresses for the girls, this one has by far been the favorite.  If this dress isn’t in the laundry, it’s on my daughter.

The fabrics are Large Bloom in Periwinkle by Paula Prass from Botanika Collection for Michael Miller and white cotton.  The dress buttons up the back but my model was not being very accommodating and wouldn’t show the back.  At least she likes to wear the clothes I make for her!

This pattern comes with another option for a skirt without pleats, which is on my to make list!
