These felt coasters are quick and easy Halloween craft. They are perfect for a Halloween party or as a hostess gift. They also make fun decorations. You can hang them in windows or string them together to make a garland.
Since it’s apple season, I thought I would share this apple cake recipe. We are going apple picking this weekend and I can’t wait to make it again. It’s a great alternative to apple pie and crumble. Just the thought of the caramelized apples with crumbly vanilla cake is making me hungry. I promise, it came out of the pan very easily.
With my second daughter on the way, I wanted to make most of the things for her nursery including a crib skirt. I did a little searching and found this idea for an adjustable crib skirt from Kelly at The View Along the Way. I used the basic idea but adjusted it for my crib and vision. I love the way a crib skirt looks but didn’t like the idea that you could only use them for a few months while the crib was on the highest setting. With this method, you can pull up the panels and use it for as long as your child is in the crib. Plus I think it looks nicer and it doesn’t move around when you change the crib sheet.
I had been wanting to do this project for quite a while, but I couldn’t quite figure out how to go about it. I know there are plenty of magnetic board and cork board tutorials out there, but I wanted this board to be big. Really big.
If you’re like me, you dread grocery shopping, especially on the weekends. I love going to the farmer’s market or specialty shops, but the regular old grocery store on the weekend makes me cringe. Of course before I go, I have to plan meals and make a list. Also not always what I want to be doing. I came up with this list to make life a little easier. It also makes it even better when I hand the list to my husband and he goes to the store!
